<Regency> is an adult mythic raiding guild encompassing a community of raid teams dedicated to cultivating an enjoyable atmosphere for gaming. Our teams retain their own autonomy (their own name, officers, loot rules, etc.) while also benefiting from a community that is eager to provide assistance and support as needed. We are built upon three core pillars that sustain and enrich our guild: collaboration, respect, and inclusivity. With these we care for and help the community grow while also slaying dragons in Azeroth.
Recruitment in <Regency> is done so by filling out an application and submitting it through discord. The appropriate officers will review the application and make a decision on whether or not to accept. If an individual speaks to an officer before filling out an application, the officer may choose to waive the application process if they feel they have gathered all the information they need to make a decision.
When applying to <Regency> you may apply to a single team or multiple teams. Please note that when applying to multiple teams, we will do our best to place you with a team that you will likely fit best with based on the information you have provided us. If you do not provide us enough information, we may ask additional questions to help us in this process. In either case, please allow us 24 hours to review your application to come to a decision. If after 24 hours, you have not heard from us, please ping the officers again for a follow up. If you are not accepted with your first application, you are more than welcome to re-apply in the future as recruitment needs are dynamic and ever changing.
Characters in the Guild
<Regency> is a giant, mythic raiding guild with multiple raid teams and as such we welcome alts, friends, and family. However the guild may reach cap (1000 members) wherein a housekeeping round of gkicks may take place. Any character that has not been logged on to within the last 30 days of the kick will subject to immediate expulsion from the guild, regardless of rank. If you will be taking a leave of absence, contact your raid team leadership as soon as possible. You are not exempt from the 30 days offline rule and your character(s) will be kicked. This is nothing personal. Should you wish to rejoin, please whisper an officer and you will be invited back.
In-Game Player Notes
With so many players, we organize our guild notes in order to identify a players status in a more specific way than the in game hierarchy allows. Notes will identity your social rank in the guild, which team you belong to, and a small blurb to identify you personally.
To properly edit guild members notes use the following examples. The first letter and number is important in how we find people through the guild, big as it is. This has an impact on our guild roster addon we use, so please fill notes our appropriately.
“M – ” = Member/Social/Friend (Example: M – Regency’s Hot Mom or M – Social)
“A – ” = Member Alts (Example: A – Bob’s Alt)
“R## – ” = Raider (Example: R99 – Tank )
“O – ” = Officer Alt
If you are editing an alt’s note, put in the name of his or her main. If the alt is on a raid team please treat it as a normal raider. If you are an officer and you are part of a raid team you still need to do R99 – DPS.
Please do not edit, delete, or add anything into the officer notes section as some of our teams use EPGP and rely on that to store information pertaining to loot distribution.
Intra-Guild Raider Transfer Guidelines
Outlined below are the guidelines that the raider and officers are responsible for understanding and following.
Violations of these guidelines may be met with disciplinary actions, such as demotions and/or guild removal.
There are many reasons for leaving your current raid team (work, personal, other). It is your responsibility to FIRST inform your current team’s leadership as soon as you make the decision to switch teams. You MUST give at least TWO WEEKS of notice to your leadership so they can prepare accordingly. Only AFTER your current leadership has acknowledged your intentions to leave the team may you reach out to the leadership of another team. It is the prerogative of your current leadership team if you receive any loot post-notification just as it is the prerogative of any other <Regency> leadership team you are interested in whether or not you will undergo another trial period.
**Alternately, if your availability impacts your ability to raid at all, none of our teams fit your availability, you have burned out on the game and just want to play casually but do not want to leave <Regency>, you are able to remain in the guild as a social member. Please still provide a TWO WEEK notice to your current leadership so they can prepare accordingly.
Current Team Leadership
Once you are informed by the raider about the desired transfer, it is your prerogative whether or not to require a two week transition period. You are responsible for replacing this raider in a timely manner so they can move on to their new team. If you have concerns about the raider or the nature of their transfer, please notify the officer core whom the raider is interested in joining (if known).
Incoming Team Leadership
It is your prerogative whether or not you want the raider to submit a new application or logs. Contact the current raid team’s officer core to verify if they have been notified about the raider’s intention to leave. This is your opportunity to ask for any feedback from the current raid team about performance, attitude, attendance, or any other aspects relevant to your raid team’s environment.
In-Game Behaviors and Conduct
<Regency> is an adult, 18+ only guild and as such one can expect mature content in guild chat. We enjoy and encourage jokes, memes, and trolling between raiders and prefer to not police such things that take place however we do expect members be mindful and self monitor their own behaviors. Excessive racism, sexism, homophobia, threatening, or violent behaviors are not acceptable in <Regency>. We respect all members and aim keep the guild an inclusive place for socializing and raiding.
If there are ongoing issues with a particular member, please address it with that individual’s raid leader or the admin team for disciplinary actions.
Zero Tolerance Policies
Violation of the Intra-Guild Transfer may be met with disciplinary actions up to and including guild removal.
There is a strict, zero tolerance policy for leaking officer chat to members whether by voice, text, or screenshot. What happens in Ochat, stays in Ochat. First time offense, you will be issued a warning. Second time offence, you will be demoted to the Welcome rank. Third time offense, you will be gkicked.
Gkicking raiders not on your raid team. If you gkick someone for fun, NEVER do it during their raid time, ALWAYS invite them back and ALWAYS set them to the correct rank. If an officer is frustrated with a member of someone else’s team, you do not have the right to gkick them. Please tell the commander of the raider what your grievance is and let them deal with it.
Gkicking officers is not tolerated or accepted. Doing so will reset the authenticator settings on their account and will not allow you to promote them back up to their rank until the next reset.
Abusing the guild bank. Excessive withdrawals may be investigated and privileges may be removed if an individual is abusing the guild bank. The member in question will be demoted to Welcome rank, a note added to explain the reason, and will not promoted back until the supplies have been returned.
The <Regency> guild bank has eight tabs that include a general tab of supplies open to all members to withdraw as well as individual team tabs for the storage of their raiding materials. Practice common courtesy when utilizing the guild bank. If you make a withdrawal, please contribute and/or donate something in return.
Tab 1 (General) – Usage of this tab is welcome and encouraged of all members of <Regency> to assist your daily needs in Azeroth.

The member in question will be demoted to Welcome rank, a note added to explain the reason, and will not promoted back until the supplies have been returned . The Welcome rank blocks all guild withdrawals and participation in guild chat.
Tabs 2 – 8 (Raid Teams) – Usage of these tabs are moderated by your team’s officers. Please defer to your team’s officer core on how to utilize your team’s bank tab. Making withdrawals from a tab that you are not a raider of is strictly prohibited. If you mistakenly or purposely withdrawing items from a team tab that you are not a member of, you are expected to return/replace the items withdrawn within 48 hours of notice.
Excessive withdrawals may be investigated and privileges may be removed if an individual is abusing the raid teams materials. The member in question will be demoted to Welcome rank, a note added to explain the reason, and will not promoted back until the supplies have been returned. The Welcome rank blocks all guild withdrawals and participation in guild chat.
Tab 1 (General) – Any and all donations to this tab should be mailed directly to the bank administrator. Donations to this tab are highly encouraged from all members in the form of crafting materials (food, herbs, ore, cloth, leather) and gold (use your best judgement or the Auction House to assist you).
Tabs 2 – 8 (Raid Teams) – Please defer to your team officers for instructions on individual donation systems or which materials are in highest need.
The <Regency> banking system is subject to change based on the growth of the community and the physical space allowed for tab use.
There is no global guild policy pertaining to raiding requirements and expectations. Raiding requirements and expectations are managed by the individual raid teams. Please defer to your Commander and/or Officers.

Guild Ranking System
Guild Master – The Guild Master or GM is responsible for the guild as a whole. The GM is not expected to do everything him or herself, however the GM is expected to keep abreast of current challenges and successes of the guild. It is within the GM’s prerogative to delegate work appropriately to individuals capable and competent so as to maintain the success of the guild, and most importantly, to act as a representative and work on behalf of the teams for any requests and inquiries. The GM may be called upon to settle disputes and is expected to do so without bias.
Admin – The Admins are an extension of the Guild Master. They are assigned a specific function in which they are expected to maintain and improve upon current processes as applicable. An Authenticator is required to hold this rank.
Recruitment – Recruitment Admins are responsible for the organization and success of the guild’s recruitment efforts. This includes Discord, recruitment forums, in game activity, and ensuring that Recruitment Officers and/or Commanders are responding to applicants in a timely manner. Recruitment Admins are expected to maintain a daily presence on the Global Recruitment Forums and, when asked, to assist new or existing teams struggling with roster or attendance issues.
HR/Guild Affairs – HR/Guild Affairs Admins are responsible for all internal guild disputes that may arise. These Admins assist in the creation and enforcement of policy over officers and members alike.
Community – Community Admins are expected to facilitate and offer in game community events on a weekly basis. This may include, but is not limited to, current end-game content, former end-game content, contests, and general shenanigans.
Bank – Bank admins are responsible for monitoring deposits and withdrawals from the guild bank, keeping the tabs organized, and accepting and sorting donations.
Tech Team – The Tech Team is responsible for the organization and success of the Discord Server, the guild website, and the guild social media sites.
Tech Admin – Responsible for organization, maintenance and upkeep of the Regency website as well as security features and anti spam features.
Social Media Admin – Responsible for activity and advertisement on social media platforms including guild announcements and team progress updates.
Media Admin – Responsible for art, videos, logos, and other guild related things for advertisement or team useage.
Discord Admin – Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the guild Discord server. Any and all requests for server wide changes are to filtered through the Discord Admin.
Commander – Responsible for the organization and success of their raid team, as well as offering input into global policy as it pertains to team operations and ownership. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: community responsibilities, such as welcoming applicants, registering people in discord, maintaining proper guild notes, and assisting in community events. An Authenticator is required to hold this rank.
Officer – These individuals are appointed by their Commander. Their job is to help his or her commander run their individual raid team, including but not limited to: community responsibilities, such as welcoming applicants, registering people in Discord, maintaining proper guild notes, and assisting in community events. Additionally, team officers are to fill the appointed role as assigned by the Commander (Recruitment, DPS officer, Heal officer, donations, etc). The primary objective of team officers should be to make the Commanders’ jobs easier. An Authenticator is required to hold this rank.
Alt-ficer – This rank is reserved for the alts of Commanders and Team Officers.
Raider – These members are rostered members on any one or more of <Regency>’s raid teams. They are to adhere to their raid teams expectations with regards to loot, attendance, and level of preparedness.
Trial – These members are currently trialing on of <Regency>’s raid teams. Trial periods are determined by their Commander or Officers.
Social – These members are often friends of core members and/or are former raid members but are not currently on a raid team. Ideally, we want to see these members join a raid team that aligns with their goals, desires, and availability.
Alt – These members are often alts of Raiders, Trials, and Social Members.
Welcome – This is the automatic rank assigned to new guild members. A new member should never exist at this rank for more than one (1) minute wherein they are promoted to the appropriate rank and the appropriate note is updated. Existing members who are demoted to this rank have done so by violating a Zero Tolerance Policy. The Welcome rank is unable to type in guild chat.
